Sudanese newspaper Al-Sadda reported that national team players are not allowed to swap shirts with opposition after Nations Cup games, as each player only has three kits to use throughout the whole competition.

The newspaper slammed the government for not providing the team with any sort of financial backing during Africa's top competition.

The report sarcastically stated that Sudan players will be deprived of exchanging shirts with some of the group's top stars.

It read: ''Our players cannot swap shirts with Mohamed Zidan, and if captain Haytham Mustafa tried to get Samuel Eto'o's jersey, he will fail."

The Group C outsiders, who opened their campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Zambia, still have to face holders Egypt and 4-time champions Cameroon.
