Zambia players will be ready to face Cameroon on Saturday after players' late bonuses were paid, confirmed coach Patrick Phiri.

The Chipolopolo boys threatened to boycott the Cameroon game after their Sudan match winning-bonus was reduced from $2500 to $2000 for each player.

However, the Zambia manager said that the problem has been resolved, hoping that it would not have a negative impact on the team.

"A far as I'm concerned, the players told me there is no problem. They have been given the money they wanted," he said.

"I hope it (bonus row) will not affect them. I'm confident they will focus on the game."

Zambia need a win against the out-of-form Lions of Cameroon, in order to move closer to a quarter-finals berth.
