He may return to Derby

Derby County manager, Paul Jewell still thinks that Derby will improve despite their shock defeat against Preston, 4-1 on Saturday, in the FA Cup fourth round.

"I'm still having faith and I'm sure we will survive. The owners promised me to put more investment to rebuilt the squad," he told a press conference after the game.

"Everybody here is confident that we will be playing in the Premier League next season.

"We had a great campaign in the Championship, last year, but things were different since the beginning of this season. We gained a lot of experience and we are stronger now."

Derby, where plays Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly, are 20th of the standings with only 7 points in 23 league games.
