Egyptian midfielder Ayman Abdul-Aziz scored his first goal of the season helping Trabzonspor thrash Rizespor 4-0 in matchday 20 of the Turkish Super Lig.

Tayfur Cora opened the scoring after only 11 minutes before Abdul-Aziz doubled the lead on the hour mark.

A brace by Umit Bulut in the 74th and 84th minutes completed the rout.

The 29-year old Abdul-Aziz was among the starting lineup and played the whole 90 minutes. Trabzon are now 8th of the standing with 25 points.

Elsewhere, Genclerbirligii, where Egyptian defender Abdul-Zaher El Saqqa plays, conceded a dramatic defeat against Bursaspor 2-1.

The hosts came back from behind to snatch the full points of the game courtesy of an injury-time strike from Cameroon striker Herve Tum.

Genclerbirligii are one place up from the bottom with only 18 points.
