Ayala hit by concussion

Real Zaragoza defender Roberto Ayala spent a day in hospital because of a concussion after a collision with Aitor Ocio during last week-end clash against Athletic Bilbao.

Real Zaragoza defender Roberto Ayala spent a day in hospital because of a concussion after a collision with Aitor Ocio during last week-end clash against Athletic Bilbao.

A statement on the club's official website said the player needed a full day rest in hospital and now he is back home.

Real Zaragoza won the game 1-0 and are now 10th of the Primera Liga standings with 29 points.

Ayala quit Valencia last summer and joined Real Zaragoza to replace Gabriel Milito who moved to Barcelona.
