The FIFA website said that "The Pharaohs are kings again" and hailed Abou Treika who "has made a habit of netting winning goals.
Two years ago he converted the decisive kick in the penalty shootout that saw Egypt edge out the Ivorians.
He was also the scorer of the goal that won the 2006 CAF Champions League title for his club side Al Ahly."
The FIFA analysis described the Pharaohs' performance as the most consistent throughout the tournament.
The report also said: "Two years ago they were victors for a record fifth time on home soil and needed a post-match penalty shootout to win.
"But the class of 2008 proved a far more polished outfit, starting the finals with a 4-2 rout of the Indomitable Lions and finishing off with a 1-0 victory over the same team in the decider."
Abou Treika had a whole article in his name " Aboutrika, Egypt's crown prince" describing his elegant touch and successes with Ahly and Egypt.
The Sports section of the yahoo portal had a huge title saying "The Pharaohs crowned" praising the Egyptian well-deserved victory.
BBC said "Cameroon were seeking a fifth title, but rarely troubled the Pharaohs."
This is while Skysports said that the Egyptians dominated the game form end to end and hailed Mohamed Zidan's performance who "had a virtual wrestling match with Cameroon captain Rigobert Song" before assisting Abou Treika.
The CAF official website paid tribute to coach Hassan Shehata who showed a great gesture of the games.
