The prolific forward smashed a superb hat-trick on Sunday to hand Bayern a 3-0 win at Hannover and put his name on top of the Bundesliga scoring charts with 13 goals.

"I want to win the Golden Boot award, but it is more important that Bayern win the championship, and to do that, I want to score as many goals as possible," said the Italian.

"Bayern Munich paid a lot of money for me and I will try to pay that back with goals."

Toni arrived at Allianz Arena from Fiorentina in a deal worth around €11M last summer, and has been in good shape for Ottmar Hitzfeld's team so far this season.
