Egyptian FA general secretary Salah Hosni said that the association received a notification from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), giving Zamalek the right to field Mahmoud Abdul-Razek 'Shikabala'.

The 22-year-old playmaker was handed a six-month ban and a 990,000 Euros fine for making an illegitimate move from Greek side PAOK Saloniki to Zamalek.

Zamalek claimed that the verdict was suspended by CAS, but the FA have not received a confirmation until Tuesday.

"We have finally received a confirmation from CAS that Shikabala is temporarily available for Zamalek," Hosni told FilGoal.com.

The Egyptian FA warned Zamalek of fielding the talented midfielder against Rwanda's APR in the Champions League as they insisted they were yet to be contacted by FIFA.

Shikabala will boost the Whites' line-up when they clash with Ismaili on Wednesday as the Egyptian League resumes.
