Mohamed Abou-Treika will return to Cairo by next week to start rehabilitation after successfully undergoing a knee operation in Germany on Wednesday.

"Abou-Treika had an operation on Wednesday, and he is expected to return to Egypt by next Sunday for rehab," Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri told FilGoal.com.

Abou-Treika will be out for at least three weeks and is likely to miss the Zamalek clash on March 14th.

The Egypt star torn medial collateral ligaments during Ahli's 1-0 win over Ghazl Mahalla last week.
