"As a result of a persistent problem in the adductor muscle of the right leg the player has had a scan which revealed there is no muscle or tendon injury," Barca's medical services said in a statement.
The Brazilian ace trained for only six minutes on Monday and had to pull out from the session. The 27-year old forward has been complaining from pains in his right leg that ruled him out from last week-end's clash against Almeria 2-2.
"The player will receive specific treatment to solve the medical problems that remain," said the statement.
Skysports suggested that Ronaldinho has a few chances of playing against Valencia in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semi-final, on Thursday. The Blaugrana were held to a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou in the first leg.
