Ahli goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari will start Egypt's friendly game against Argentina despite fears over expected hostile reception from the fans.

The veteran goalie has infuriated Ahli fans following his attempt to join Swiss side Sion without the Red Devils' approval.

Many pundits have called on Egypt manager Hassan Shehata to omit Al-Hadari from the match's line-up.

However, Shehata, who led Egypt to two successive Nations Cup titles, opted to include the 35-year-old in his starting line-up for the anticipated game.

Al-Hadari told FilGoal.com earlier on Wednesday that he is not concerned by the fans' reaction when they observe his presence on the pitch.

Shehata will employ an unfamiliar 4-4-2 formation. The former Arab Contractors boss always prefers the traditional 3-5-2 system.

Hani Saied will partner Wael Gomaa in the heart of Egypt's defense, while Ahmed Fathi and Sayed Moawad will play as full-backs.

Egypt's midfield will feature 2008 Nations Cup best player Hosni Abd-Rabou, Mohamed Shawky, Ahmed Hassan and Mohamed Abou-Treika.

Ahli striker Emad Meteb, who recently ended his goal drought, will partner Hamburg's Mohamed Zidan upfront.

Zamalek prolific frontman Amr Zaki will miss the match due to injury.
