Ismaili assistant coach Khaled Al-Qammash is angry that Mohamed Fadl had to play through pain for Egypt against Argentina on March 26th.

"He was still recovering from a thigh injury and played for the last 15 minutes and got injured again. He shouldn't have played," said the Dervishes' official.

Fadl missed last week-end's goalless draw against Baladeya and won't feature against Ittihad on Saturday.

"We will have to do without our best striker and unfortunately his return hasn't been scheduled yet."

Ismaili face a striker shortage after Fadl's injury and Mostafa Karim's suspension.

The Iraqi striker is the team's top scorer with eight goals, two ahead of Fadl.

Coach Emad Soliman doesn't have many options as Amr Samir and Youssef Gamal are the only substitutes available.

Talking about the match Al-Qammash said: "It will be a very difficult game as we want to go second while Ittihad are fighting to survive in the top flight. We must grab our chances to avoid losing more points."

Ismaili are fourth of the table with 36 points just one behind second-placed Zamalek.
