Philip Lahm looks set to stay with Bayern Munich for 'at least' another season, according to vice-chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Lahm, who is reportedly targeted by Barcelona, has a contract with Bayern until June 2009, but the Germany full-back is likely to protract his spell at Allianz Arena.

"Lahm will stay until the summer of 2009 at least, we are not willing to sell him next summer," former Germany star Rummenigge told Bild.

The 24-year-old defender also confirmed earlier that an agreement is almost met with club manager Uli Hoeness.

"Negotiations with Uli Hoeness got underway this week and I can very well imagine that we'll reach agreement next week," he said.

Lahm has been an established figure for both club and country in recent years, which included winning the third place with Germany in the 2006 World Cup.
