Egyptian keeper Sherif Ekrami will guard Feyenoord's goal in next Sunday's league tie against Willem II following the injury of the number one choice Henk Timmer.
"Timmer suffered a thigh injury during Thursday's training session and he will miss Sunday's game," the 24-year old goalie told FilGoal.com.
It will be Ekrami's first appearance this season as he hasn't featured in any official game for Feyenoord.
With two matches to go, Feyenoord are sixth of the table with 57 points.
"We have two crucial games as we aim to finish among the top five and play the playoffs for the Champions League spots," added the former Ahli keeper.
Ekrami vows to impress to get a chance to play the Cup final against Roda on April 27.
