The former Arsenal goal ace has only found the net seven times this term, which saw him playing mostly as a left winger in Frank Rijkaard's routine 4-3-3 selection.
As a result, Henry felt the impact of the new position on his goal scoring attributes when he led France's frontline in a friendly against Spain last February.
"This could be a problem, I have to be honest," Henry, who missed Saturday's 2-2 draw at Recreativo, told L'Equipe.
"Against Spain in Malaga in February, I lost all my bearings in the middle. I was lost in all the calls, all the runs.
"And in front of goal, I no longer position myself in the same way, I no longer have the same reflexes. So that can create a problem."
Les Bleus' all-time leading goal scorer hopes to regain his clinical touch before the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland.
"I hope that between the end of the season with Barcelona and the start of the Euros, I have the chance to play back in the middle during France's preparation games and that I can again make my mark in this position.," he added.
France will compete with Italy, Holland and Romania in a deadly Group C next summer.
