Top footballers from Africa, led by Mali's Frederic Kanoute, will set up an exhibition match in Seville for helping children of the Dark Continent.

The match will take place at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium on May 13th, and will be organized by Sevilla ace Kanoute.

The 2007 African Footballer of the Year ensured that the event will witness top class African players like Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba, Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o and Ghana's Michael Essien.

"My African friends and the best players from the continent will be present, like Drogba, Adebayor, Eto'o, Essien, everyone responded well, they wanted to come," he said.

Kanoute, a devout Muslim, is involved in several charity projects, including the 'Children Village' intended to aid orphans in Bamako.
