Abdul-Fattah, who took part in the 2006 World Cup, was subjected to protests from both sides.
Ahli players protested Omar Gamal's opener for Ismaili, claiming that his strike should have been ruled out for offside.
"Abdul-Fattah is a great referee. He handled the game very well," Al-Badri told the post-match press conference.
"Concerning the goal, I can't say whether it is valid or not because I haven't seen a reply."
Television replays showed that Abdul-Fattah got it right by awarding the goal to Ismaili.
Ismaili assistant manager Khaled Al-Qammash did not agree that Abdul-Fattah's performance was good.
"He needlessly handed my players several bookings. He also sent-off defender Ahmed Abdul-Aziz for an altercation with Ahli's Emad Meteb after the final whistle."
"I also believe that his decision to award Ahli a penalty just before the break was totally wrong," Al-Qammash added.
Mohamed Barakat was awarded a penalty after an Ismaili defender was adjudged to have fouled him. Ahli skipper Shadi Mohamed missed from the spot.
