Egyptian defender Ibrahim Saied said that he declined to play in Ankaragucu's Turkish League game against Konyaspor on Saturday due to a row over his dues.

"Ankaragucu haven't handed me my dues since my return from the African Cup of Nations in February," Saied told FilGoal.com.

"Ankaragucu's action is inexplicable because I'm playing regularly.

"I told the club's board five days ago that I would not play against Konyaspor unless they pay me."

Ankaragucu were handed a crushing 3-0 defeat to Konyaspor. The result left the team in ninth place of the league table with 39 points.

"They promised that I'll take my money before the match but they did nothing," Saied added.

The 28-year-old revealed that he will return to Egypt and won't return to Turkey until the dispute is resolved.
