The Egyptian champions confirmed that they were given the approval to move the game from the Military Stadium to Cairo Stadium, whose capacity bear up to 100,000 spectators.
"We have been given green light to play at Cairo Stadium," GM Moharram Al-Ragheb told the club's official site on Wednesday.
"We hope to gather our fans for the game, and we are confident we can go through."
Ahli, who reached the finals of the previous three Champions League editions, trail Stars by two goals to one, following the 2-1 defeat at Pretoria last weekend.
New Signing
Meanwhile, the Reds are on brink of signing midfielder Hamdi Saif on a free transfer from second division Asyut Petroleum, FilGoal.com understands.
The 24-year-old scored the only goal for his side to oust the Egyptian Cup holders from this year's competition, and has been instrumental in Mohamed Amer team's return to the top flight.
The Ahli board will meet on Wednesday to decide on new signings for the next season, as well as players not needed by the club.
