Ankaragucu's unsettled defender Ibrahim Saied insisted on Wednesday he won't return to Zamalek as long as the current board of directors is in charge.

The Egypt defender is seeking a move away from Ankaragucu after being involved in a row with the Turkish club over his bonuses.

Widespread reports linked Saied with a move to either Ahli or Zamalek. He played for both clubs in recent years.

While remaining coy on reports linking him with Ahli, Saied stressed that he has no intention of joining Zamalek.

"I'm not thinking of joining Zamalek because the board of directors who forced to me to depart two years ago is still managing the club," Saied told Dream TV.

"Few months ago, Zamalek chairman said there was no room for my return although I sat down with one of their officials to discuss a possible move. They did not say the truth."

The 28-year-old said he had no problems to join Ahli, but only if they are interested in having him back at their disposal.

"Ahli are yet to contact me. I do not have any reservations over joining them," he said.

"But they must be interested in signing me. I don't know their targets for the new season, maybe they want to sign other players."

Ahli will be looking to bolster their backline after sweeper Emad Al-Nahhas sustained a serious injury which will rule him out of action for several months.

Saied, who has a reputation of being a bad boy, left Ahli in 2004 after a series of disputes with the club's board.
