Manager Manuel Jose has asked to sign the former Ahli defender as he believes he would be the perfect replacement for sweeper Emad Al-Nahas, who has been ruled out for six months with a knee injury.
However, president Hassan Hamdi refuses to bring the 27-year old player back to the Red Castle as he has been at the center of controversy in the past.
Saied was involved in many troubles during his spell at Ahli (2000 – 2004) before making a shock move to arch-rivals Zamalek.
Then he moved to the Turkish Super Lig where he played for Rizespor and Ankaragucu.
He has apologized to Ahli officials and fans for his past behavior and asked for a second chance in the club where he graduated.
Vice-president Mahmoud Al-Khattib has declared himself in favor of Saied's return and the board will take its final decision soon.
