ENPPI assistant coach Hani Ramzy is looking to use his side's morale-boosting 3-0 victory over league champions Ahli as preparation for the Egyptian Cup final.

Mid-table ENPPI, who will face Zamalek in the cup final on May 25th, produced a brilliant performance to dominate a star-less Ahli side at the Military Stadium.

"We considered the game like any other challenge, a good preparation for the final," said Anwar Salama's assistant after the game.

"The win gives us confidence ahead of Zamalek game, which is our priority."

In the same manner, Ahli's Alaa Maihoub revealed that Sunday's CAF Champions League clash with Platinum Stars is the main concern for the Egyptian champions.

"The result is not important for us at all, the league has ended on the day we secured the title," said the Ahli assistant manager.

"We are currently focused on the African competition."

The five-time African champions trail the South African outfit by two goals to one, following the defeat at Pretoria two weeks ago.
