Ahli keeper Amir Abdul-Hamid revealed that he is fully fit to play against Platinum Stars in the CAF Champions League on Sunday.

The team's first-choice goalie was deemed doubtful for the crucial clash due to a hamstring injury.

Youngster Ahmed Abdul-Monem was expected to deputize for the 29-year-old.

However, Abdul-Hamid insisted he was ready to participate against the South African outfit in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.

"I have recovered from injury. I will be able to stand between the sticks against Platinum," Abdul-Hamid told FilGoal.com on Friday.

"The technical staff, though, will have the final word on whether I will take part in the match. I will be rested afterwards."

The Egyptian champions will be looking to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg in order to advance to the group stage.
