Moawad was on the verge of joining Ahli from Ismaili in January but heavy protests from the Dervishes' fans led to the deal being cancelled.
He then joined Trabzonspor on a six-month loan deal with a view to a permanent switch should the Turkish club pay Ismaili $900,000.
However, the 28-year-old's future remains unclear.
"My destiny is out of my hands," Moawad told FilGoal.com on Friday.
"I will stay with Trabzonspor if they decide to activate the option of signing me permanently; otherwise I will return to Ismaili."
Moawad has not ruled out the possibility of him joining Ahli despite past obstacles.
"Ahli are interested in signing me. Some of their officials have already talked to me about a possible transfer."
"It will be a great honor for me to play for Ahli. The club will be waiting to learn the outcome of Trabzonspor's negotiations with Ismaili before presenting their bid," he added.
