Double World Cup winner Cafu is yet to decide whether to retire or not, but the 37-year-old has confirmed his Milan exit.
"I have had five marvelous years in which I have managed to win everything,” Cafu told Milan Channel.
“The moment has arrived to leave. It is sad and hard but I knew sooner or later the time would come to go home, to return to Brazil. I don’t know if I’ll still play when I’m in Brazil.”
In the same manner, 36-year-old Serginho decided to call it a day on his 9-year Milan spell, which was marred by a series of injuries.
"After a back problem hit me two years ago, I’ve not been able to return to my best form, which is why I believe the moment has come to say goodbye to the team," he said.
Milan are poised to make major changes to their over-age squad this summer, following a disappointing season.
