Anderlecht won their ninth Belgian Cup on Sunday beating arch-rivals Gent 3-2 to give departing midfielder Ahmed Hassan a final trophy.

The Purple came back from behind twice before Guillaume Gillet scored the winner in the 72nd minute.

The game had a terrific start as Jan Polak, 7, canceled out Dominic Foley's early lead, 6.

Olufade restored Gent's advantage in the 30th minute to end the first half on a 2-1 lead.

Hassan came off the bench in the 63rd minute to change the course of the game and give his side the upper hand.

Seven minutes later, Mbark Boussoufa leveled the score again and Gillet scored the decider in the 72nd minute.

The Egyptian midfielder played his last game for Anderlecht as he will be back to Egypt to join Ahli.

During a two-year spell in Belgium, Hassan was inspirational for the Purple scoring 24 goals to help them win the league, Cup and Super Cup titles.
