The Purple came from behind twice to beat Gent 3-2 and clinch their first Cup title since 1994.
"It was a very tense encounter as we were down at the hour mark and Gent seemed very close from the third goal," Hassan told FilGoal.com.
"When the coach brought me in, I knew it would be hard but was determined to win the game to leave a good memory."
The 33-year-old midfielder had a major contribution as he came off the bench in the 63rd minute to change the course of the game and give his side the upper hand.
"It ended like a classic movie where the hero fights and wins," added Hassan.
The former Ismaili and Besiktas midfielder has played his last game for Anderlecht. He is set to join Ahli starting next season.
In his two-year spell in Belgium, Hassan was inspirational for the Purple scoring 24 goals, helping then win the league, the Cup and two Super Cup titles.
