Ghazl Mahalla beat neighbors Baladeya 2-0 to send them back to second division after only one season in the top flight.

Morsi Abdul-Latif and Mohamed Salah scored to conclude the victory for Mohamed Fayez's side.

Baladeya's relegation became imminent as they freeze at 25 points to join Suez Cement in the second division, with one week remaining.

Elsewhere, Aluminum registered a decisive win 2-0 over Tersana to leap-frog them in 12th place with 30 points, one more than the Hammers.

Arab Contractors' 1-0 defeat at Petrojet put them in a critical situation as they slipped to third from bottom with 28 points.

Monday's results will stir a hectic finale to the relegation battle, with Telecom Egypt, Aluminum, Tersana and Contractors fighting.
