A statement on the club’s website said “Amauri belongs to Juventus. Today the Brazilian forward signed a four-year contract”.
The Brazilian striker, who is acquiring an Italian passport, hit 15 Serie A goals last season with Palermo and became a major target for many clubs especially AC Milan and other competitors in the Premier League.
The Old Lady bosses will pay Palermo £9.8m plus the co-ownership of Antonio Nocerino and striker Davide Lanzafame.
Amauri, 27, will earn around £2.8m per season, plus bonuses. The deal also includes a hefty bonus if he wraps up 20 goals next season.
The first Juventus summer signing will have to battle with Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet for a place in the Bianconeri’s front line.
