Czech Republic keeper Petr Cech said on Friday that EURO 2008 opener will not be a special occasion for him.

Karel Bruckner's men will face co-hosts Switzerland in the tournament's opener on Saturday.

"The match is just going to be like any other," the Chelsea guardian told EURO official website.

"We'll travel to Basel together, we'll have our training session in the stadium, and then we'll be in the hotel together.

"My own preparation won't change. I'll be in the hotel, and on matchday – after we've had our final tactical session – I'll have a rest and then go and play."

Switzerland striker Alexander Frei poses the greatest threat to Czech's chances of claiming a victory.

However, Cech insists his side must be aware that Frei's teammates will also be dangerous.

"I think the Swiss are very dangerous, and know how to play well together," he said.

"They create a lot of chances down the left side with [Tranquillo] Barnetta and [Marco] Streller, and count on Frei to score goals.

"We already know a lot about them, and we'll see how well we have prepared in the game."
