EURO 2008 Preview: Greece vs. Sweden

Holders Greece are out to prove that the EURO 2004 victory was no fluke as they take on Sweden on Tuesday.

Otto Rehagel shocked the world when he led the usual outsiders to winning the trophy in Portugal, and the German is set for a record seven years in charge.

Sweden on the other hand, are hoping to meet 'growing expectations' of their ambitious supporters.

Team News: The Greek are at full strength as influential midfielder Giorgios Karagounis is fit following his knee injury.

Probable Line-up: Nikopolidis- Seitaridis, Kyrgiakos, Dellas, Antzas- Karagounis, Basinas, Katsouranis, Amanatidis- Gekas, Charisteas.

Sweden

"We know Greece pretty well and I'm sure they know us too. They are very strong physically, have good variation in attack and, above all, they are good at set-pieces," said Sweden coach Lars Lagerback.

"It's quite natural for expectations to grow for us, because we want to have better results than we've had in the past, but of course it's important to be realistic as well."

Team News: Lagerback confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is fit to play after recovering from a knee problem, but the Inter Milan ace is unlikely to complete 90 minutes on the pitch.
