Two second-half goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Petter Hansson gave Sweden a 2-0 victory over title holders Greece in EURO 2008 on Tuesday.

Ibrahimovic, who heavily contributed to Inter Milan's Serie A triumph, opened the scoring seven minutes past the hour mark with a sublime effort.

The former Ajax man exchanged passes with Henrik Larsson before firing an unstoppable bullet into the far top corner.

Stade Rennes defender Hansson ensured the victory five minutes later when he slotted home at the far post after Antonios Nikopolidis blocked Fredrik Ljungberg's shot.

The result put Sweden in second place of Group D on three points. Spain, who thrashed Russia 4-1, are on top of the group due to their superior goal difference.
