The Serie A champions are interested in the Brazilian winger, who has reportedly fallen out with Roma boss Luciano Spalletti.
"I will not be meeting the player’s agent today but Roma have given us permission to talk with him at the end of the week," Branca told Corriere Dello Sport.
"Mancini is a player that we are interested in and we have also spoken o Roma about other players who may be available."
Mancini has been an essential part of the Giallorossi in recent years, which included two Coppa Italia titles.
