DR Congo demolished Djibouti 6-0 at home, to lead Group 12 of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers temporarily.

Dieumarci Mbokani scored twice, so did Zola Mutomona, as Shabani Nonda and Tresor Mabi Mputu concluded the victory.

Djibouti, who were beaten 4-0 at home by Egypt last week, conceded 18 goals in three games as they visit DR Congo next week.

Congo lead the group with six points from three games, before Egypt face Malawi on Saturday.
