Madrid-based newspaper Marca said that Baptista is one of the players Real are willing to sell to finance the signing of Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Primera Liga champions are willing to do business for around 15 million euros while Roma are ready to offer just 12 million to sign the Brazilian.
"I am on holiday in Brazil and so don’t know anything about current negotiations," Baptista told Marca.
"My main plan is to stay at Real, but you can never tell what the future holds and Roma are a great club."
