"You have three months to work together to give Poland and Ukraine a way of hosting a fantastic EURO. I am confident but I just need a little guarantee," Platini said.
The Frenchman had a meeting with Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and President Victor Yushchenko on Thursday after a visit to Poland.
There have been concerns over both countries' slow preparations and Platini issued a warning saying that Poland and Ukraine risk losing the right to host the tournament.
"We had some questions to ask you because not everything was exactly clear concerning many things in Ukraine – the stadiums, the airports…etc," Platini told Ukraine top officials.
UEFA would make a decision on the issue during their meeting in Bordeaux in September and Platini said that the next three months are crucial for both countries.
"We will do everything, even the impossible, so that there will be a fantastic celebration for the entire World," replied Tymoshenko.
