Ahli have tabled an official bid to sign Hani Saied from Ismaili, the coastal club said on Friday.

"We have received an official offer from Ahli for Saied," Ismaili general director Abdul-Rahman Anous told FilGoal.com.

"The technical committee will meet on Saturday to consider the offer as well as Ahli Dubai's bid for Hosni Abd-Rabou."

A member in the technical committee said that it is unlikely to accept Ahli's offer.

The member, speaking to FilGoal.com on condition of anonymity, added that the club would prefer to sell the international defender to Zamalek.

Saied's contract with Ismaili will expire next summer and he would be able to sign for any club for free in January.

Zamalek have reportedly signed Saied on a preliminary contract and are yet to send their official offer to Ismaili.
