Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli will use two captains throughout the upcoming 2008-2009 season.

Young center-half Riccardo Montolivo will skipper the team in the Serie A, while Romania striker Adrian Mutu will wear the armband in the Champions League.

Montolivo was the captain last season despite being only 23, but this time top marksman Mutu will share the captaincy with the Italian defender.

The Viola finished fourth in the league last season as they were eliminated from the UEFA Cup semis at the hands of Glasgow Rangers.
