Amr Zaki's agent Nader Shawki is set to proceed on his attempts to terminate the Egypt striker's contract with Zamalek as he vowed to raise the case to FIFA.

Zaki's request to the Egyptian FA, which was based on accusing the club of failing to pay his basic salary, was denied on Tuesday.

However, the forward's agent is adamant that FIFA will rule in favor of his client as he revealed his discontentment with the FA's verdict.

"I cannot understand how they came out to that decision, FIFA rules state that a player has the right to annul his contract if the club failed to fulfill its terms," Shawki told FilGoal.com.

"That’s why I have already started contacting FIFA and I am sure we will win the case."

Focused

Shawki ruled out the possibility of reaching an agreement with Zamalek chairman Mamdouh Abbas, who was involved in a recent bust-up with Zaki.

Abbas refused to allow Zaki seal a move to Premiership side Wigan Athletic, who were on the verge of landing the 25-year-old in season-long deal.

"It is impossible to negotiate with Abbas after he insulted us in his office," added Shawki.

"Right now we are focused on terminating Amr's contract with Zamalek rather than keeping the Wigan option alive."

Meanwhile, EFA vice-chairman Ahmed Shobeir said that Zaki will be subjected to disciplinary action if he did not comply with the association's decisions.
