Mohamed Helmi denied that he will be leaving his post as Zamalek assistant coach, in the course of the Whites' contact with Tarek Yehia.

Helmi walked out of the team's pre-season camp in Cairo, with speculation suggesting that he will quit his job after clashing with chairman Mamdouh Abbas.

However, the former Zamalek star justified his angry action as he denied being in a rift with new boss Reiner Hollmann.

"I was put under severe pressure during the past few days, I was nervous and I just needed some rest," Helmi told FilGoal.com.

"There is no problem with Hollmann.

"I heard there was contact with Tarek Yehia, and I find no reason for that because I will return to the team on Saturday."

Conditions inside the Cairo club were unstable this summer, amid transfer problems including an infamous bust-up between star man Amr Zaki and chairman Abbas.
