"Our negotiations with Zamalek board are almost completed," Hamada Hozayen told FilGoal.com.
The 27-year-old diminutive midfielder, who has become a free agent after leaving Qatari club Qatar, is set to join the Egyptian Cup winners on a three-year deal.
"Djemba-Djemba initially demanded to receive 2.6 million euros throughout the duration of the contract, while Zamalek offered just two million.
"The player has eventually accepted Zamalek's offer. He will arrive in Cairo in the next few days to pen the deal," Hozayen added.
Djemba-Djemba, who played for the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Nantes, is set to become the second foreigner to join Zamalek in the close season.
The Cairo giants have recently signed Ghana striker Junior Agogo from English second division side Nottingham Forest.
