Zamalek captain Ayman Abdul-Aziz said that confidence will be a key factor in his side's attempt to beat Egyptian champions Ahli in Sunday's Super Cup.

The Whites will miss a number of pivotal players, including Amr Zaki, Gamal Hamza and Shikabala, but Abdul-Aziz believes the team have what it takes to win the trophy.

"We are totally ready for the match, but we need to be confident in order to win in such a big game," he told the club's official site.

"I think we have a special squad, made up of experienced and young players. We are all at full strength.

"I hope our fans will be there to support us and I promise them that this season will be different."

Zamalek's cup triumph last term was a rare feat in a wretched four-year run, which saw arch rivals Ahli dominating domestic titles.
