Real Madrid playmaker Wesley Sneijder is ruled out of action for three months after suffering a serious knee injury in Sunday's friendly game with Arsenal.
The Dutch ace damaged the internal lateral ligament, following a tough tackle by Arsenal's Abou Diaby.
Real were relieved by the news though, as initial tests suspected a cruciate ligament injury scare.
Sneijder will now miss Real's start to the Primera Liga and UEFA Champions League, in addition to Holland's 2010 World Cup qualifiers this year.
