Egyptian striker Mido believes Tottenham bosses should let his former teammate Dimitar Berbatov move on as he is no longer focused on the team.

The 27-year old Bulgarian striker made no secret of his desire to join Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson has been chasing him during this summer and tabled a £25m-offer to bring him to Old Trafford.

But Spurs bosses resisted all that pressure and placed a £30M-price tag to let him go.

"I don't think Berbatov's head is there anymore. It is not with Spurs and I think he is looking for a move," Mido told Skysports.com

"I think he is a very important player for the club. You can see Spurs without Berbatov are a different team. Without Keane as well they are a different team."

Irish striker Robbie Keane, who was a key player for Tottenham, moved to Liverpool a few weeks ago.

"They are huge players. It will be very difficult to replace Berbatov. He is a class player. He is not affected by anything around him," added Mido.

"It was the same with Keano. He is one of the best players I have ever played with. Losing them I think will be difficult for Spurs."
