“Ankaragucu tabled an official bid to sign me on loan,” Ekrami told FilGoal.com.
Reports in the Turkish and Dutch media have claimed, on Tuesday, that the Feyenoord’s keeper could be on his way out of the Dutch side.
“I accepted the offer and told Feyenoord’s bosses that I want to secure regular first-team football,” added the former Ahli keeper.
Ekrami has been told by Feyenoord’s coach that he won’t be his number one choice.
“Ankaragucu and Feyenoord’s bosses are in talks over the transfer’s amount and the move should be concluded this week,” Ekrami said.
Meanwhile the 24-year old goalie picked up a minor injury and will miss Saturday’s Super Cup clash against Feyenoord.
