Striking duo Ahmed Farag and Hani Al-Egeizi have been named in Ahli's squad for the first time as the Red Devils face Arab Contractors in the Egyptian League on Saturday.

Ahli coach Manuel Jose will apparently rely more on both players following Emad Meteb's move to Ittihad Jeddah on a season-long loan.

Al-Egeizi and Ahmed Farag joined Ahli in the close season from Al-Baladeya and Ghazl Mahalla respectively.

But they did not feature in Ahli's Egyptian League games against Olympic and Masri.

Tunisian midfielder Anis Boujelbene and striker Osama Hosni were omitted from Ahli's squad for unknown reasons. So was Palestinian keeper Ramzi Saleh.

Ahli will miss defender Wael Gomaa and defensive midfielder Hossam Ashour, who have been ruled out of the Contractors game due to suspension.

Ahli squad:

Goalkeepers: Amir Abdul-Hamid, Ahmed Adel

Defenders: Shadi Mohamed, Ahmed Al-Sayed, Rami Adel, Mohamed Samir, Ahmed Ali

Midfielders: Gilberto, Sayed Moawad, Moataz Eno, Mohamed Barakat, Ahmed Hassan, Hussein Ali, Mohamed Abou-Treika

Strikers: Flavio Amado, Ahmed Belal, Hani Al-Egeizi, Ahmed Farag
