Real Madrid chairman Ramon Calderon still believes that Robinho will stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea, who signed two players in the close season, are tracking the Brazilian winger to further bolster their squad.

But their efforts are yet to bear fruit as Spanish champions Real are reluctant to offload Robinho.

Although the 24-year-old made it clear that he wants to join the Blues, Calderon apparently won't grant him his wish.

"He's going to stay here, I'm saying that," Calderon told ABC on Saturday.

Robinho has been omitted from Real's squad for the Primera Liga opener against Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.

The coming two days will decide the player's fate as Monday will mark the transfer window closure.
