“I do not intend to leave and I haven’t received any offers yet,” Mostafa told the club’s official website.
Press reports have suggested that the 28-year old troubled-midfielder is set to quit the team in January.
“I didn’t skip training. I had some pains in my knee and I had to rest. I talked to coach Manuel Jose and he gave me a rehabilitation program in order to get back to the starting lineup,” he added.
Mostafa spent a six-month loan at Saudi side Al-Wehda last season and since then he lost his place in Jose’s lineup.
He will have a tough battle against Hussein Ali, Hossam Ashour, Anis Boujelbene, Moetaz Eno, Mahmoud Samir and Ahmed Fathi for a place in midfield.
