The financial muscle of Manchester City's new owners may not be tempting for the several stars they track. Cesc Fabregas was the second player to demonstrate that notion.
The Arsenal star believes he would ruin his career should he joins City.
"It would be suicidal for my career at 21 years of age to move to City. It would make no sense," he told the Telegraph on Saturday.
Real's Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has recently rubbished reports linking him with a move to the Eastlands.
That shows that Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment (ADUG) would find it hard to fulfill their ambitious plan of luring world class players to the City of Manchester.
Sulaiman Al-Fahim, who heads ADUG group, lined up his potential signings that included the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Fernando Torres and Thierry Henry.
