The 28-year old forward was jeered while being substituted in the 77th minute and his coach could clearly listen the crowd chanting "Goodbye, Dunga".
The Selecao delivered another poor performance and failed to beat Bolivia who played the last 35 minutes with only 10 men on the pitch.
"When we don’t play well, it’s normal. Supporters are emotional and it’s their way of protesting," Dunga said after the game.
"We just have to get over it. The important thing is to be in the top four at the end," he added.
Brazil are second of the 10-team South American table with 13 points four behind leaders Paraguay.
